Job Description
Due to our continued and rapid growth in the Australian market, Securitas has an exciting position available for a Casual Security Officer to join our business and work for a very well‑known Global client in our Sunshine, Campbellfield and Burwood locations.
The Casual Security Officer must be able to deliver an exceptional level of security and customer service. Candidates with a robust customer service background coupled with a Security License are encouraged to apply.
Key Tasks
- Provide a security service in line with the site SOP’s and customer requirements to protect employees, property and other assets.
- Deliver the highest levels of customer service, consistently demonstrating Securitas’ core values of Integrity, Vigilance and Helpfulness.
- Deliver a consistently high‑end, accurate and discreet security‑focused hosting experience to all visitors, guests and employees at the designated site(s).
- Ensure the safety and protection of customers’ people, property and information at all times in a knowledgeable and service‑oriented manner.
- Demonstrate the core brand values and culture of both the client and Securitas, promoting a positive image of our customer at all times.
- Deal with queries from the public, customers/visitors and employees.
Qualifications and Experience
- Must have a valid Security License.
- Ability to uphold the Securitas core values of Integrity, Vigilance and Helpfulness.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Can work independently, self‑aware, motivated, and also able to work as part of a team.
- Punctual and reliable.
- Proactive, whilst maintaining discretion and confidentiality.
- Experience in a concierge/hosting/customer‑facing role.
- Previous security environment experience and/or security awareness training.
