Job Title: Asset Management Professional
This role is situated at Enoggera, Brisbane, QLD, and supports the AH-64E Apache Helicopter and associated fleets.
About the Opportunity:
* Manage assigned Breakdown Spares & Consumables inventory through contracted logistics and provisioning agencies.
* Maintain an optimal level of stock availability.
* Exercise financial delegations to maintain assigned assets (authorise procurements).
* Develop and manage Breakdown Spares & Consumables supplier/subcontractor business relationships, in-service requirements, and performance.
* Identify and communicate potential risks and issues.
* Ensure logistics information management system integrity.
* Gather and review data for use in supplier performance evaluations.
* Provide support in developing mitigation plans.
About You:
* Demonstrated experience in Breakdown Spares & Consumables management.
* Proven track record in Defence supply chains, with Foreign Military Sales experience desirable.
* Well-developed written and oral communication and negotiation skills to facilitate interaction between logistics and provisioning agencies and key stakeholders.
* The ability to work with a high level of autonomy in a fast-paced environment.
* Experience in identifying, establishing, and promoting supply process improvements at the project level.
* Familiarity with exporting/importing practices and regulations.
* Understanding of airworthiness standards.
