The Role
We are seeking for a Human Resources Coordinator to provide support, coordination and administration in the delivery of a full range of human resources services, including recruitment, on-boarding and general human resources duties.
* 9 month fix-term - maternity leave position with possible extension

Key Responsibilities
* Respond to internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests and provide assistance by providing HR information to employees on rights and responsibilities
* Support the recruitment/hiring process by sourcing candidates, performing background checks, assisting in shortlisting, issuing employment contracts etc.
* Assisting HR Manager with advising managers on how to deal with difficult situations
* Assisting with all recruitment needs, including writing and placing ads, shortlisting candidates, interviewing candidates, and conducting reference checks
* Assisting candidates with onboarding process, training and checks
* Maintaining and updating employee records and preparing and managing various HR documents and databases
* Ensuring all staff have relevant checks in accordance with NDIS and legislative requirements
* Overseeing the probationary period reviews including reminders to management
* Creating staff profile and ordering staff ID cards as required
* Answering employees queries about HR-related issues
* Assisting with conducting induction training for all new employees
* Scheduling meetings, interviews, HR events etc.
* Maintaining the team's agenda and taking the minutes
* Generating HR reports and Rostering for all support workers
* Ensuring the smooth running of the human resources department in the organisation
* Assisting with performance management procedures and conflict resolution
* Assisting payroll department by providing relevant employee information (e.g. tax, superannuation, bank details, leaves of absence, sick days and work schedules)
* Creating appropriate employee training sessions on a range of topics, using the most appropriate medium (in person, 1:1, PowerPoint etc)
* Conducting spot checks if required
* Developing and implementing continuous improvement initiatives
* Updating company website and social media with relevant information and advertisement
* Actively contribute to the business in a positive manner
About You
You are required to obtain
* NDIS Orientation Module (QSY, New Workers Induction, SEC and SSEM) certificates
* Safe Waste Management certificate
* Infection Control Training certificate
* First aid and CPR certificate
