About the role TAFE NSW is seeking a Project Coordinator to support the Strategic Partnership Manager in developing and implementing local partnerships for the Manufacturing Centre of Excellence at Tighes Hill, Newcastle. Reporting to the Strategic Partnership Manager, you will focus on engaging with the specific region and community surrounding the Centre to inform and execute strategic partnership planning. Your role will involve identifying and cultivating relationships with local stakeholders, including industry leaders, educational institutions, and community organisations. You will coordinate partnership initiatives, manage local events, and facilitate communication between the Centre and regional partners to foster collaboration. Ensuring that local partnership efforts are aligned with existing regional and community partnership approaches is crucial, as is maintaining alignment with broader TAFE NSW strategic planning. You will track and report on partnership progress, adapting strategies to meet regional needs while supporting overarching goals. The successful candidate must be willing to travel regionally as required to other TAFE NSW Campus locations at Wetherill Park and Wollongong. About You The ideal candidate will possess the following: A degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent skills, knowledge and experience in project coordination. Significant experience relevant to project management and administration and exposure to project management tools and significant competency in Microsoft Excel.
