Overview
Location: Kensington, Sydney. Employment Type: Full-time (35 hours per week). Duration: Continuing. Remuneration: $127k - $178k base (+17% superannuation and leave loading). Visa sponsorship: not available. Leading with a focus on either teaching and research or education in the Health Sciences programs.
Responsibilities
* Content development and delivery of Behaviour Change and Mental Health content and Sports Psychology curricula within the Health Sciences health professional programs.
* Teach across multiple programs and disciplines (e.g., exercise, physiotherapy, dietetics, pharmacy) with Behaviour Change/Mental Health taught across these areas and Sports Psychology within the Exercise Physiology program.
* For Teaching & Research roles: conduct high-quality research in addition to teaching responsibilities.
Qualifications and Skills
* Level B – Education Focused: PhD in a related discipline (Exercise or Psychology/Behaviour Change) or substantial relevant clinical experience with teaching.
* Demonstrated experience in sub-disciplinary areas of exercise behaviour change, mental health and health/sport psychology.
* Experience in teaching and learning design, development and delivery of courses and programs at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels.
* Experience implementing educational technologies and online delivery methods.
* Level C – Education Focused (additional): significant experience in teaching and learning design and curriculum development; track record of teaching excellence and fostering inclusive learning culture.
* Level B – Teaching & Research: PhD in a related discipline; demonstrated research track record and ability to lead research initiatives; supervision of research students; ability to secure funding and engage with industry.
* Level C – Teaching & Research (additional): extensive teaching design experience, curriculum development leadership, and sustained evidence of high-quality research outcomes and leadership in research.
