Overview
The Field Engineer performs activities associated with installing, diagnosing, maintaining, and servicing computer-related products, including but not limited to desktop/laptop computers, printers, and peripherals. Proven experience in a deskside support environment performing fault investigation, triaging, and resolution. Experience with desktop support, server support, hardware, network and software installation and troubleshooting. Experience with supporting a corporate Windows environment. Printing (installation, deployment, configuration, disposals). Software and hardware diagnostic skills and building/upgrading PCs. Test and Tag experience highly regarded. Minimum of 6 months experience in supporting deskside support environment. Ensure customer satisfaction throughout all transactions.
Responsibilities
* Install, diagnose, maintain, and service computer-related products (desktops/laptops, printers, and peripherals).
* Provide deskside support with fault investigation, triaging, and resolution.
* Support desktop, server hardware and software installation and troubleshooting; assist with network-related tasks.
* Support a corporate Windows environment.
* Manage printing activities: installation, deployment, configuration, and disposals.
* Perform software and hardware diagnostics and build/upgrade PCs.
* Test and Tag experience is highly regarded.
* Maintain a minimum of 6 months of experience in a deskside support environment.
* Ensure customer satisfaction throughout all transactions.
Requirements
* NV1 security clearance must have for this role.
* Driver's license is required.
