The Registered Behavior Technician will support the quality of clinical services, agency education and collaborative partnership initiatives for the purpose of strengthening the infrastructure of supports available to children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
* Demonstrate unwavering commitment to individuals receiving services at Upstate Caring Partners.
* Create an environment where staff and students are safe, happy, relaxed, and engaged.
* Assist in the use of Practical Functional Assessments to assess severe problem behavior.
* Implement empirically-based teaching and behavior change procedures under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
* Teach staff on the proper implementation of educational and clinical behavior programs and plans.
* Ensure compliance with pertinent government and agency regulations.
Qualifications:
* High School Degree.
* Board Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician.
* Excellent computer skills and communication abilities.
* Valid New York State Driver's License required.
