Regulatory Leadership Role
This leadership position plays a vital role in managing and leading a team responsible for the regulation of home education in Queensland. The Manager will be dedicated to contributing to the development of policies, systems, and processes that support the regulatory services for home education.
About the Role
* The Manager will oversee the operations of the Home Education Unit, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
* Key responsibilities include:
1. Managing and providing leadership to a team with key responsibilities for regulation of home education registrations in Queensland.
2. Undertaking, monitoring, and reviewing complex regulatory activities, making recommendations and decisions relevant to home education.
3. Instigating and managing operational policy, procedure, and process initiatives to support continuous quality improvement in efficient and effective regulatory decision-making practice.
4. Resolving conflicts in regulatory matters by effectively managing relationships, accurately applying the legislation, and escalating matters when needed.
5. Contributing to the development of innovative and strategic solutions that achieve high-performance regulatory outcomes.
