Job Title: HSE Officer - Distribution Network
Our organization is seeking an experienced Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) professional to join our team as an HSE Officer for our Distribution Network.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing operational HSE support across our network, including the development and review of HSE-related procedures, forms, and processes. This role requires regular travel to our service centers, where you will engage with workers on HSEQ related matters, provide technical advice, and ensure compliance with relevant legislation, codes, and standards.
Responsibilities:
* Provide operational HSE support to our network, including the development and review of HSE-related procedures, forms, and processes.
* Regularly travel to our service centers to engage with workers on HSEQ related matters, provide technical advice, and ensure compliance with relevant legislation, codes, and standards.
* Assist in the provision of training and practical support with HSE-related management systems.
* Initiate and consult on system and process improvements.
* Engage with internal Buddy Trainers & Assessors as required.
* Lead and record regular safety walks, task observations, hazard identification, internal audits, and other HSEQ-related assurance activities across the network.
* Participate in or lead incident investigations and ensure quality standards of incident findings and timely corrective action management.
Requirements:
* Certificate IV in WHS or equivalent qualification.
* Minimum C Class Provisional Driver's license.
* Incident investigation training/experience (e.g., 5-Why, ICAM methodology).
* Relevant experience or other qualifications applicable to this role.
* Sound knowledge of production planning.
* Highly organized with strong time management skills.
* Competent in Microsoft Office applications.
* Able to ensure excellent attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
* Team player with a positive nature and can-do attitude.
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
