The Barista is responsible for delivering exceptional speciality coffee and beverage service in accordance with Brooklyn Donuts’ coffee program. This includes espresso preparation, cold brew and frappe production, equipment care, and contributing to overall store operations. Our baristas create genuine connections with every guest, making each interaction personal and memorable.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and serve high-quality espresso, cold beverages, frappes and specialty coffee beverages
* Maintain consistency, efficiency, and accuracy in coffee preparation during all service periods.
* Use POS to process customer transactions while maintaining company service standards.
* Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of coffee equipment and workstations.
* Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth and efficient front of house operations.
* Replenish product displays and ensure correct merchandising.
* Complete any checklist in line with company SOP’s
* Support customer service by assisting with orders, donut service, beverage preparation and general FOH duties as required.
* Perform daily and weekly cleaning tasks, including equipment, and utensils.
* Manage customer inquiries and resolve issues in a professional manner.
* Monitor coffee quality and provide feedback to uphold brand standards.
* Adhere to hygiene, cleanliness, and workplace safety protocols.
* Contribute to training of junior team members when required.
* Plus, other ad hoc duties across the venue, which may involve duties from other sections of the business, which may be required from time to time to ensure the venue runs efficiently and effectively.
Pay: $22.40 – $34.00 per hour
