* Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
* Lead by example and support all staff to conduct their day-to-day duties in a competent, friendly, and efficient manner.
* Communicate the organization's directions, strategies, and goals to staff.
* Recognize and commend good performance/results.
* Assist senior management with identification of staff training needs and formulate training and development plans.
* Maintain strong working relationships with other departments.
* Certificate IV in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery).
* Food Handlers Certificate.
* Detailed knowledge of professional kitchen standards.
* Delivery of great quality food across all departments.
* Culinary creativity and menu design.
* Hands-on chef ability to cope with shift work.
