Orthotist / Prosthetist (Full-Time)

Paul Retschko & Associates (Retschko Orthotics) is seeking a motivated and experienced Orthotist / Prosthetist to join our growing team on a full time basis, commencing 12 January 2026.
About the Role
This role involves providing high-quality orthotic and prosthetic care across our Richmond and Seaford consulting rooms, with all technical and fabrication work undertaken at our Seaford facility. The successful applicant will play a key role in post-operative patient management and lower limb orthotic services, as well as supporting the launch of our medical grade footwear store.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct patient consultations at both Richmond and Seaford clinics
* Manage all post-operative appointments following surgery performed by Mr William Edwards
* Assess, prescribe, and fit a wide range of lower limb orthoses
* Fit and dispense extra depth and extra width footwear, supporting our soon-to-open medical-grade footwear store
* Collaborate with the technical team to ensure accurate fabrication and timely delivery of devices
* Maintain high clinical, professional, and documentation standards
* Build strong rapport with patients, surgeons, and allied health professionals
About You
* Qualified Orthotist / Prosthetist with relevant certification and registration
* Experience in lower limb orthotics
* Excellent communication and clinical assessment skills
* Ability to work independently while contributing to a close-knit team
* Interest or experience in therapeutic and medical grade footwear is highly regarded
