About the role:
Bakers Delight, a well-established and respected bakery chain, is seeking a Qualified or Apprentice Baker to join our thriving team in Queanbeyan, NSW. As a full-time position, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the high standards of our baked goods and contributing to the overall success of our local bakery.
What you'll be doing:
* Preparing and baking a variety of bread, pastries, and other baked goods to our exacting specifications
* Ensuring all products meet our stringent quality and safety standards
* Assisting with the daily operations of the bakery, including inventory management and kitchen organization
* Collaborating with the team to identify opportunities for process improvements and product innovations
* Maintaining a clean and well-organized work environment
What we're looking for:
* Formal qualifications as a qualified baker or eager to learn as an apprentice baker.
* Strong baking skills and a keen eye for detail to produce consistently high-quality baked goods
* Excellent time management and multitasking abilities to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
* A passion for baking and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
* Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the wider bakery team
