The Opportunity
We're seeking a Software Development Manager to lead our development team in Scoresby. In this pivotal role, you'll drive technical excellence, foster a culture of collaboration, and deliver high-quality software solutions for our customers.
What you'll do:
* Lead, mentor and develop a team of software engineers working on software solutions.
* Champion best practices in C#/.NET development, including code quality, testing, and documentation.
* Plan, prioritize, and oversee development projects to optimize resources and productivity.
* Provide technical leadership in designing scalable, maintainable and secure applications.
What you bring:
* Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or related discipline / equivalent experience.
* 15+ years of software development experience, with significant proven leadership experience.
* Strong technical background in C#/.NET development, software architecture and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
* Experience with hardware/software integrations, IoT devices, and industrial IT systems.
* Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
* Bonus: Knowledge of industrial IT networks, OPC UA, Modbus protocols, and edge computing.
