Clinical Trials Manager

About the role
An opportunity exists for a motivated Clinical Trials Manager with the appropriate skills and knowledge to join the Orange Health Service Clinical Trials team. The Clinical Trials Manager position effectively and efficiently manages clinical trials, ethics and research governance office submissions for the medical oncology, radiation oncology, haematology and palliative care teams at the Orange Hospital.

In this role you will be responsible for the operational management of the Clinical Trials team, including clinical trial coordinators, pharmacists and administrative staff who work within the team and to ensure the service aligns with best practice and the Clinical Trials Governance Framework.

The position will be involved in quality improvement activities in clinical trials by ensuring compliance with ICH Good Clinical Practice, the National Clinical Trials Governance Framework (NCTGF) and by providing coordination and management of the Clinical Trials Units and activity across oncology services. The manager will also be responsible for interfacing and coordinating trial activity with the Western Cluster Clinical Trials Support Unit (CTSU).
