**Description**
Australia's favourite theme parks, Dreamworld & WhiteWater World and the iconic SkyPoint Observation Deck and Climb present a rare and exciting career opportunity for an energetic and enthusiastic Digital Marketing Executive to join our passionate and driven team located at Dreamworld on the Gold Coast.
**The role is responsible for**:
- Driving the social media strategy for our brands, helping to grow and develop various social channels into high performing marketing channels by:
- Creating and curating content for all accounts based on strategic direction and industry/ platform best practice;
- Monitoring and re-purposing user generated content; and
- Engaging with guests on public posts and forums, developing and implementing a brand persona, and working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure consistency of messaging in all of our social interactions
- Efficient updates of website content through our CMS, briefing creative and composing copy based on web and SEO best practice, ensuring that content is uploaded, scheduled and published on time and on brand
- Working with the Head of Marketing and third-party vendors and agencies as the key contact for our digital marketing activities to ensure successful execution of paid advertising
- Participating as a member of our broader marketing team and assisting with other marketing activities or park activations as required, including the requirement to work early or late shifts across a 7-day operation.
**To be successful, you will have**:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar position;
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Marketing, Digital Technology, or other related disciplines;
- Strong experience in managing a large and highly engaged social media community across key channels;
- The ability to create and produce relevant content for digital marketing channels;
- Experience in briefing marketing collateral and creative designs, with a good working knowledge of copywriting best practise and SEO principles;
- Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder management skills;
- A flair and passion for digital media, and demonstrated success working across previous campaigns;
- An ability to achieve success when working autonomously and as part of a strong, cohesive team; and
- A strong organisational skillet with the ability to self-motivate and work successfully under competing deadlines and demands, heavy peak periods and fluctuating workloads.
