We are currently seeking a Project Coordinator to support the delivery of major subdivision and infrastructure projects in Darwin. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and organized individual to play a key role in planning, coordination, and technical problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the project manager in developing project plans, schedules, and coordination documents.
* Monitor construction progress, productivity, and subcontractor performance, providing regular reports to stakeholders.
* Review and maintain project documentation, including ITPs, QA records, and as-builds, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
* Manage procurement of materials and services to meet program timelines, coordinating with suppliers and clients.
* Ensure adherence to WHS, environmental, and quality regulations, conducting site inspections and reporting on progress.
* Liaise with clients, consultants, and suppliers to resolve technical issues, communicating effectively across teams.
* Track costs, variations, and assist with forecasting and progress claims, maintaining accurate financial records.
* Support training and development initiatives for site staff and graduate engineers, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices.
Requirements
* 1-3 years' experience in civil construction or infrastructure works, preferably in a project coordination or management role.
* Sound understanding of QA processes, WHS compliance, and site documentation, with ability to interpret design drawings and ITPs.
* Strong teamwork and communication skills, with experience working with diverse stakeholders, including site crews, supervisors, and clients.
* Proficient in MS Project, Excel, and construction reporting tools, with ability to learn new software quickly.
* Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field, with valid White Card certification.
* Enthusiastic, adaptable, and committed to delivering high-quality results, with willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities.
