Cybersecurity officers play a crucial role in safeguarding an organization's digital assets and data. They are responsible for implementing robust security measures to prevent cyber threats, attacks, and breaches.
Key Responsibilities:
* Implement ACSC Essential 8 practices, including patch management, multi-factor authentication, and restricting administrative privileges.
* Contribute to the development of cybersecurity capabilities within the organization.
Requirements:
* Tertiary or vocational education qualification in Cyber Security, ICT, Information Management, or equivalent experience.
* Specialized knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as ACSC's Essential 8, ISM, ISO 27001, and NIST CSF 2.
* Negative Vetting 1 (Secret) security clearance or ability to obtain one.
* Current driver's license.
