We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing preventative and corrective maintenance on our fleet of trains. This is a critical role that requires strong technical skills and attention to detail.
The successful candidate will have experience in electrical maintenance and fault diagnosis, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills. You will work closely with the technical specialists and ISST teams to ensure repairs are completed efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
* Performing fault diagnosis, identification and rectification on both the electrical and mechanical systems of the vehicle.
* Performing damage and vandalism repairs as required, including data capture and effective use of the SAP system.
* Liaising with the Technical Specialists / ISST teams in order to ensure repairs are effected with no impact to in service performance.
* Assist in the identification and production of vehicle modification programs to improve reliability and maintainability.
* Performing post work testing and validation as necessary.
* Building positive relationships with drivers and Queensland Rail in order to support a successful fleet operation.
* Updating the Maintenance Management System with all work carried out.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will require:
* A Cert III Electrotechnology qualification or equivalent.
* A QLD Electrical Licence or ability to obtain.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
* Experience in electrical maintenance and fault diagnosis.
