Overview
Procrete Australia is seeking an enthusiastic and hard-working Concrete/General Labourer to join our team in Perth, WA. As a casual role, this position will involve a variety of general labouring duties on construction sites, with a focus on concrete work. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our skilled tradespeople and contributing to the successful delivery of our projects.
Responsibilities
* Assisting with the Forming, meshing, and pouring of concrete
* Excavating by hand of footings
* Loading, unloading, and moving construction materials
* Performing general site cleanup and maintenance tasks
* Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures
* Must hold a current Construction Induction (White Card) before commencing employment
* Supporting the wider construction team as required
* Some Saturday work available
What we're looking for (Qualifications)
* Previous experience as a general labourer or in a similar construction role
* Minimum of 1+ years experience in concrete or general labouring roles
* Strong physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour tasks
* Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
* A commitment to safety and a proactive approach to risk management
* A positive attitude and a willingness to learn
* Australian citizenship is required for this position
* Willing to learn concreting
* Starting on casual and progress to full time once probation period is successfully completed
* Drug Free is a must
* Able to do 8hrs a day 5 days a week as a minimum
* Excellent time keeping is a must
* Own Transport
* Current Drivers Licence
* HR licence would be advantageous
