Expert Plant Researcher
Job Description
We seek an accomplished botanist to contribute to our statewide vegetation site data, BioCondition benchmarks, and mapping products generation and delivery program.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct fieldwork for biodiversity (particularly botanical) data collection.
* Collect, digitize, store and maintain biodiversity data using Queensland Herbarium standards and database storage systems.
* Assist with research to develop new or improved methods for the assessment of BioCondition benchmarks and vegetation condition at the site and landscape scale.
* Support team day-to-day operations, functioning, and culture.
* Prepare online procedures, reports, publications, and presentations, reporting data and results.
