**Your Team**
The Corporate Actions - Investment Operations (IO) team sits in Finance and Fund Services. IO consists of four teams of SMEs: Trade Support, Corporate Actions, Asset Pricing and Static Data. Combined, they are responsible for maintaining an accurate Accounting and Investment Book of Records.
**Your Responsibilities**
Reporting to the Director of Investment Operations, as Manager of this team you will be responsible for ensuring that all corporate actions are recorded correctly.
You will achieve this by:
- Managing and driving system changes and process improvement.
- Working closely with Custodian, Statutory Reporting, Group Tax, Auditors and other stakeholders to ensure processing and reporting are aligned with best practice and regulatory requirements.
- Researching market information sourced from various vendors and exchanges to determine correct tax outcome in accordance with the applicable tax legislation.
- Managing a team to ensure deadlines and objectives are met, and supporting team members to facilitate their learning and development.
**Your Capability and Experience**
- SME knowledge of Australian and International corporate actions and tax related matters
- Experience in a high volume corporate actions environment in wealth management and/or investments industries
- People leadership experience, including leading through change
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Self-motivated, proactive style and desire to provide excellent service to customers
- Robust data analytical skills, advanced Excel skills and familiarity with Simcorp Dimension (highly regarded)
