About Us
At Mercure Pakenham, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional guest experiences with a touch of local warmth. Operating 7 days a week, our Food & Beverage team provides premium breakfast and dinner services to hotel guests and locals alike.
We are entering an exciting phase of growth a brand-new French Bistro, Patisserie and Lobby Bar! With plans to launch Room Service and a premium Conferencing & Events operation in the near future, we are building a dynamic, passionate Front of House (FOH) team to grow with us.
Positions Available:
We are looking for vibrant personalities to fill multiple roles across our FOH operations:
FOH Supervisor (Full-Time): A natural leader to oversee daily shift operations, manage floor flow, support the team, and maintain Mercure's high service standards.
* * Baristas (Casual): Coffee artisans who can smash out high-quality morning brews under pressure with a smile.
* * Bartenders (Casual): Mixology enthusiasts or classic pourers who can craft excellent drinks and manage a clean, welcoming bar environment for dinner service.
* * Wait Staff / Food & Beverage Attendants (Casual): Engaging, proactive individuals who genuinely love hospitality, taking orders, and making guests feel at home.

What We Are Looking For
Note: A valid Victorian Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate is mandatory for all roles.
* * Prior experience in a hotel or an upscale busy restaurant.
* Strong communication skills and a \"guest-first\" mentality.
* Reliability and availability to work a flexible roster including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
* Full Australian working rights.
* * For the Supervisor: Proven experience leading teams, using Micros Symphony, and managing floor operations.
