Role Overview
The Director of Educational Excellence plays a pivotal role in shaping the educational landscape. This leader will spearhead initiatives to enhance student learning outcomes, align school planning with divisional vision, and foster a culture of excellence in teaching and learning.
Main Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement innovative strategies to drive student success.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure goals are focused on student achievement.
* Contribute to project-based learning committees to drive academic excellence.
* Support teacher capacity building in trauma-informed practices and evidence-based strategies.
* Develop individual behaviour support plans and risk management assessments for students requiring tier 2 and 3 support.
* Lead case management discussions and provide universal support to staff.
* Facilitate transition processes for new students and ensure smooth integration.
* Promote wellbeing frameworks to support staff in a special school context.
