What's the role?
Are you looking for a rewarding full‑time career with a great team? We're seeking experienced Cleaners to join our team at Curtis Island on a Casual basis.
As a Cleaner, you'll play an essential role in maintaining a safe, clean, and well‑organised environment for the team and residents. Your responsibilities may include:
* Cleaning offices, first aid room, ablution/shower blocks, and lunch/crib rooms
* Rubbish removal and restocking lunchrooms & kitchenettes
* Chemical handling and adhering to safety procedures
* General cleaning and maintenance of communal areas
What do you need?
* Previous cleaning experience ideally in an industrial environment (preferred but not essential)
* Ability to work 10–12 hours per day.
* Physically fit to pass a pre‑employment medical and drug & alcohol screen.
* Self‑motivated and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
* Current driver's licence and reliable transport (early hours ferry commute required).
* Previous experience bus driving, highly desirable (and associated qualifications).
* Gladstone local (preferred), no FIFO.
