About the Role
Roads 2000 Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our Projects team, reporting to the Projects Manager, with proven experience in the position. This is a full time permanent position and the successful candidate will to be located on project site and our Wangara depot office to assist with the management of projects to ensure their success.
Skills
* Agreed competence in managing projects with high value and impact
* Carry out project management tasks
* Follow subcontractor/ client management procedure
* Ensure that project books are maintained and filled out on each job
* Ability to participate in a team environment that ensures the efficient and effective operation of the business unit
* Highly developed project management, contract management, organizational and time management skills
* Proven ability to effectively prioritise multiple tasks to meet deadlines and achieve desired outcomes
* High level of written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to ensure clear and concise reports and correspondence are prepared
* Interpersonal, conflict resolution and negotiation skills to effectively liaise with internal and external customers
Experience
* At least 3 years' experience as a Project Coordinator, Project Engineer or Project Manager
* Asphalt related project experience advantageous
* Knowledge of rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards
* Extensive experience in the management of civil design, construction and project delivery
* Comprehensive knowledge of civil engineering, civil construction techniques, materials and equipment required for civil works and design standards and procedures
* Ability to understand design briefs and tender specifications
Qualifications
* Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering
* Valid Driver\'s licence
* White card
