Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Technical Support Specialist to join our IT team.
* The successful candidate will have a focus on providing frontline technical support for key business applications, tools and information systems.
* They will also help to develop creative and innovative solutions as the company's business needs arise and participate in larger IT business projects.
The Technical Support Specialist will be accountable for:
* Assisting in managing the integrity and smooth operation of core business applications and information systems;
* Installing, configuring, supporting and maintaining corporate and enterprise-wide tool and business application systems;
* Undertaking day-to-day administrative duties such as account management, client setup, configuration and support, security and application patching, and maintenance of IT system registers for the management of IT systems and information assets;
* Troubleshooting and resolving assigned incidents or service requests whilst ensuring prompt professional service;
To be successful in this role, you will need to bring:
* Experience in a similar technical support or IT role;
* A strong focus and commitment to customer service;
* A working knowledge of technologies such as Microsoft Active Directory, Sharepoint, database technologies like Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle, ITSM systems and tools like ServiceNow and Jira, and Atlassian Confluence & Jira;
* Broad knowledge of business tools, applications and technologies associated with common business functions including areas of Finance, HR, IT, Engineering, etc.;
* Excellent problem-solving skills;
