We have several opportunities in Bathurst for experienced Disability Support Workers to join our dynamic team. Kirinari Community Services is a reputable, growing disability support provider delivering high-quality care to enrich the lives of our clients.
About the Position
Our Disability Support Workers (DSWs) support people in their day-to-day living and provide quality 24/7 care in supported independent living settings (SIL/Group Homes). You will deliver direct support across a range of needs, including domestic and personal care, and help clients access and engage with the community. The role requires availability in a 24/7 environment, including weekends and overnights (penalties apply). Flexible start dates are available.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct support with daily living tasks, personal care, and domestic activities.
- Support clients to participate in community activities and maintain connections.
- Work across shifts, including sleepovers/active nights, weekends, and public/school holidays.
- Collaborate with the team to deliver safe, high-quality care in SIL/Group Homes.
About You
- Ability and willingness to work shift work, including sleepovers/active nights, weekends and holidays with significant availability
- Resilience, confidence and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills and ability to develop positive relationships
- Ability to obtain the NDIS Worker Screening Check prior to commencement
- Ability to use computers and learn various software/programs
- Smartphone and current Australian Driver's Licence
