This organisation has an opportunity available for a VR GP to join our private billing clinic in Mackay on a full time basis. Located on the northern Queensland coast, our clinic offers a comprehensive health service with general practice, occupational health, and travel medicine services.
This role will provide exposure to all aspects of general practice and occupational health medicine, including:
- Pre-employment medical assessments
- Family Medicine
- Men's & Women's health
- Occupational health assessments
- Acute injury treatment and management
- Travel medicine
- Skin screening
- Chronic Disease Management
- Immunisations
- Minor surgery
GPs will be provided with:
- An attractive remuneration package
- A friendly and focused multi-disciplinary team
- Flexibility in roster, a half or whole day off per week if required
- A Regional Medical advisor is located at the clinic and is available to mentor and develop your skills in occupational medicine
Requirements:
- Fellowship of the Royal Australian College for General Practitioners (FRACGP) desirable
- Full Registration with AHPRA
- Postgraduate training and experience in general practice
- Experience in Occupational Medicine and work injury management is advantageous
- Eligibility to access Medicare
- Qualification in Skin Cancer Medicine preferable
- Registration with the DNRME as a Qld EMO/AMA preferable
- Proven evidence of continuous professional development & medical education
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- A caring and quality driven commitment to providing general practitioner health services
