Government agency looking for a Rent Collection Officer to assist with their public sector property portfolio.
**Your new company**
Our client is a business unit within the Queensland Government who work across a range of new build, maintenance and capital works projects.
Due to a peak in workload and a healthy project pipeline, they are looking to add a Rent Collection Officer to their Department to assist with their various leasing and property management projects.
**Your recent role**
You will be responsible for providing property administrative and operational activities to assist with data integrity in the Accommodation Office property and finance database.
You will also help with the management of outstanding financial payments, administrating outstanding debts through communications with internal and external stakeholders.
**What you'll need to succeed**
To be successful in the role, you will need to demonstrate the ability to analyse property and financial data to facilitate strategic management of a large scale property portfolio.
You will therefore have experience in property administration, specifically regarding debt collection and leasing enquiries to be able to support the development and maintenance of such portfolios.
You will also have an understanding of property portfolios in order to provide advice and recommendations to lease managers on appropriate action.
Given this role involves portfolio reports and data, experience in data entry programs such as iSpace is beneficial.
**What you'll get in return**
You will be offered an immediate start with a 3-month contract with the potential for extension.
You will be offered a fulltime temporary position banding an A03 rate + super.
