We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Gardening Services Manager - Educational Setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the school grounds in a safe and tidy condition, ensuring a conducive external learning environment for students and staff.
Responsibilities:
* Maintaining turf areas, garden beds, shrubs, trees, and soft landscapes.
* Overseeing the upkeep of hard landscaping features like courts and paving.
* Marking sports areas and conducting minor repairs in alignment with departmental policies.
* Keeeping gardening facilities, equipment, tools, and machinery in a clean and serviceable condition.
* Reporting faults promptly and adhering to safe work practices.
Requirements:
* A valid Working With Children Check.
* Consent to a National Criminal History Check with the Department's Screening Unit.
* An Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
