Position Description
Sales Advisors (Product Demonstrators) to work with us at our Costco location in Moorabbin, VIC. This is a casual opportunity.
- Generating excitement, brand awareness and increasing product sales through event sampling and promotions
- Prepare and market vendor products (food and non-food)
- Provide members samples and/or information on products
- Display products and explain features and benefits
- Answer member questions and engage with members regarding products
- Encourage members to purchase event product by providing usage tips
- Setup and breakdown of event area
- Preparation of product samples on scheduled event days
Our ideal candidate
- Hospitality/Retail (grocery, restaurant, food service and/or event marketing) experience is highly regarded, but not essential. You must be able to stand for the duration of the shift (usually 6 hours).
- Experience, primarily in a warehouse setting with temperature variations, highly regarded but not essential
- Kitchen equipment skills: basic knowledge of microwaves, ovens, skillets, etc.
- Strong communication skills
- Customer service oriented
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Ability to multi-task during the event
- RSA/Barista Certification highly regarded, but not essential
- Willing to work on a rotating roster between 10am - 5pm, and weekends as required
Pay and Training
- Casual Award Rates as per Industry Award
- Paid induction and training

Must be above 18 years of age
