System Technician - Surveillance & Hardware
We're looking for a motivated and technically skilled individual to join our team, supporting and delivering CCTV and IT infrastructure projects across our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, project manage and support CCTV installations across multiple sites
* Collaborate with internal teams and contractors to ensure timely and effective deployment
* Provide hands-on support for the EIC (Electrical, Instrumentation & Control) team with:
o Procurement and configuration of IT equipment
o Wireless network setup and troubleshooting
* Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with company standards and safety protocols
* Travel to various sites as required (vehicle provided)
About You:
* Experience with CCTV systems (design and deployment) particularly NX Witness and Hikvision \ Vivotek cameras
* Understanding of IT hardware, networking and configuration
* Strong project coordination and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
* Willingness to travel and work in industrial environments
* Customer focused and a high level of attention to detail
* Excellent health & safety behaviours
* Be attentive to technical processes, and results driven
* Strong literacy & numerical skills (written & verbal)
* Hold a current driver's license
* Ability to take ownership & manage your own area of responsibility without close supervision
Highly Desirable
* Excellent problem-solving skills
* Worked in CCTV field or experience working with camera system in particular NX Witness
* IT knowledge – networking \ imaging PCs
