Position Summary
The Senior General Maintenance Worker will work under general guidance within clearly defined guidelines. You will be responsible for a minor function based on their skills and experience; this may involve resolving minor issues in the relevant work area within established work practices. They may also be required oversee and/or guide the work of a limited number of Gardener and Maintenance Workers while on a job.
We will be hiring for two Part Time vacancies. One vacancy will work 22.5 hours per week and the second vacancy will work 15 hours per week.
Duties
* Greeting visitors and service participants to various Cultura work locations and ensuring a welcoming and supportive environment is provided.
* Maintain professional standards including undertaking work in a timely and safe manner;
* Ensure all equipment is used and maintained appropriately;
* Learn new skills, follow instructions and ask questions when unsure;
* Responsibility over a minor function based on their skills and experience;
* Resolving minor procedural issues within established work practices;
* May also be required oversee and/or guide the work of a limited number of Gardener and Maintenance Workers while working on jobs;
* Other duties as required;
Desirables
* Construction industry white card (preferred not required);
* Current driver's licence;
* Willingness to work as part of a team and on evenings and weekends (if required);
* Ability to follow instructions, policies and procedures closely;
* A positive attitude and energetic approach to working;
* Willingness and ability to undertake physical work;
