Permanent full‐time and part‐time opportunities available for experienced Clinical Midwives to join the Maternity Outpatients Department at Meadowbrook Health Centre within Metro South Health.
About This Role
Your new role: As a Clinical Midwife within the Maternity Outpatients Department, you will provide advanced clinical care, leadership and coordination to support safe, high‐quality outcomes for women, babies and families.
* Deliver evidence‐based antenatal midwifery care within a women‐centred model of practice
* Provide advanced clinical assessment, care planning and problem‐solving in complex maternity presentations
* Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to support safe and effective care delivery
* Support continuity of care and empower women to make informed decisions throughout their pregnancy journey
* Lead and contribute to quality improvement, education, research and clinical governance activities
* Mentor, guide and support midwives, students and healthcare team members
* Promote culturally safe, inclusive and compassionate maternity care for diverse communities
About You
You are a compassionate and experienced midwife who is passionate about delivering exceptional maternity care and supporting positive outcomes for women and families with:
* Registration as a Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA)
* Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge and experience in antenatal midwifery care
* Strong clinical decision‐making, communication and problem‐solving skills
* A commitment to evidence‐based practice, education and continuous professional development
* The ability to work autonomously while contributing positively within a multidisciplinary team
* Experience supporting quality improvement initiatives and clinical governance activities
* A strong commitment to culturally safe, respectful and inclusive healthcare practices
* Well‐developed computer literacy and documentation skills

Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care. As a teaching hospital we train future health care professionals and support research through partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities and TAFE Queensland. Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027 we will have more beds and five additional birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
