We are looking for a vibrant **Human Resources Manager** to join our team in a stand alone role supporting our Australia and New Zealand business. The role will work alongside the local leadership group and support the broader local team, however will also be supported by other local resources as well as offshore human resources support teams. **What will you be doing?**
- Act as the first point of contact for managers and staff in the resolution of all generalist human resources enquiries.
- Provide advice and support in the management and resolution of operational human resources issues within the framework of human resources programs, relevant employment agreements and legislation.
- Lead the recruitment activities locally supported by offshore recruitment advisors and other local team members.
- Build capability of managers in addressing performance issues and concerns in compliance with policies and procedures as needed.
- Develop and facilitate learning initiatives and solutions to meet targeted organisational needs.
- Manage the resolution and finalisation of conflicts and grievances in accordance with policies and procedures as needed.
- Analyse and evaluate the delivery of human resource services and contribute to the development of solutions to improve and enhance employee engagement.
- Design and implement best practice human resource programs and initiatives.
- Develop and contribute to the development of operational policies and procedures.
- Develop a broad range of documentation to support planning, implementation and delivery of human resources initiatives.
- Overall, this is an opportunity to own the operational and strategic focus of the human resources function locally, you can influence and adjust what needs to be done and when.
**What Experience Should You Have?**
- Demonstrated experience in operational generalist human resources service delivery with the ability to prioritise and negotiate deadlines, and develop creative effective solutions to resolve human resources challenges and issues.
- Experience in the scope, design, and implementation of well researched human resources programs and projects.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to facilitate and present to a range of stakeholders, and develop high quality documentation including plans, reports, policies and other documents.
- Demonstrated ability to develop effective working partnerships with managers and proven interpersonal, mediation, counselling and consultation skills.
