Responsibilities
As an Instrumentation Engineer is responsible for effective and reliable operation of control systems, measurement instruments and automation processes and to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The role involves designing, installing, and maintaining instrumentation and control systems, troubleshooting field instruments and control systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards, programming PLCs and DCS, collaborating with engineers for system integration, conducting safety audits, optimizing processes, and managing project aspects like budgeting and scheduling.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering.
* Relevant experience in Instrumentation engineering roles, preferably in a urea manufacturing plant or a similar chemical process industry focusing on Instrumentation engineering.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
* Project management skills to plan, execute, and monitor equipment-related projects.
* Willingness to stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and best practices in Instrumentation Engineering in urea manufacture.

About Perdaman Chemicals and Fertilisers: Perdaman Chemicals and Fertilisers, based in Western Australia, is developing Project Ceres—Australia's largest and one of the world's biggest urea plants, with a USD $4.5 billion investment and a capacity of 2.3 million metric tons per year. Located in Karratha, the plant will use feedstock from Woodside under a 20-year supply agreement and has a 20-year offtake agreement with Incitec Pivot.
