Role Description
This is a contract hybrid Lawyer role located in Brisbane, QLD, which allows for a combination of office-based and remote work. The successful candidate will be responsible for advising clients on legal matters related to corporate and commercial law, disputes and property transactions. Additionally, they will negotiate transactions, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide guidance on topics such as foreign investment, project finance, and joint ventures. Collaboration with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders in the Asia Pacific region will be a key part of this role.
Qualifications
Proven legal expertise in Corporate and Commercial law, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and agreements.
Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities to address complex legal and business challenges.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain legal concepts clearly to non-legal stakeholders.
Highly organised with attention to detail, and adept at managing multiple priorities to meet deadlines.
Professional integrity, ability to work collaboratively, and commitment to delivering client-focused results.
A law degree and admission to practice law in Australia are essential.
Experience in the Asia Pacific legal or commercial sector is a strong advantage.
