This beautiful 38‑place service in Sydney's Central Coast is looking for an experienced and passionate Centre Director to lead their team of teachers and educators. You will be the heart of the service, inspiring and driving excellence of every aspect of the centre operations. This is also a great opportunity for an Assistant Director with Acting Director experience to step up in their career.
Responsibilities
* Manage daily centre operations, including staffing, budgets and parent communication.
* Inspire and support educators and teachers through coaching, mentoring and professional growth.
* Design and deliver engaging, age‑appropriate activities for children's holistic development.
* Prioritise children's safety and well‑being, adhering to policies and procedures.
* Ensure compliance with all regulations and standards.
* Cultivate a positive, inclusive culture that values teamwork and diversity.
Qualifications
* A Diploma or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education, or working towards the qualification (ACECQA‑approved).
* Minimum 2–3 years of Acting or Centre Director experience.
* Working with Children's Check, Recent Child Protection Training/Safeguarding Current, First‑Aid Certificate (including asthma and anaphylactic training).
* Passionate belief in early years care, development and education of children.
* Strong ethics and genuine approach towards child safety and WHS.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
* Commitment to ongoing professional development.
* Adaptability, flexibility and resilience and ability to respond positively to change.
