We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Physiotherapist to join our Home Care services team on a casual basis. You will be working within our new wellness centre, the Active Life Studio and community. Focused on providing members comprehensive assessments, devising evidence based treatment plans to maintain or improve the health and fitness of seniors. Active Life Studio is equipped with state of the art equipment including, HUR, Motomed, Boost treadmill, SENSO, and an Inbody body composition analyser.
The successful candidate will possess:
High quality assessment and treatment skills in a wide range of chronic conditions
Experience working in aged care
Experience with Falls Prevention Programmes
Experience with delivering group exercise classes
Experience with delivering Hydrotherapy classes
A motivated and enthusiastic attitude to teamwork and developing programs for the Active Life Studio
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Physiotherapy and current registration with AHPRA, or be eligible for registration.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Empathetic, caring and compassionate nature
Ability to think on your feet and flexibility
