As a Key Account Manager, you will be given a portfolio of our most significant clients, including the iconic projects we have recently secured in the ACT. This is your chance to directly influence the future landscape of the region and see the tangible results of your work on a grand scale.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing a strategic portfolio of clients with annual sales in the $15M-$30M range.
* Building long-term, value-based relationships with decision-makers in the civil and construction sectors.
* Identifying and converting new commercial opportunities in civil and infrastructure projects.
* Offering tailored solutions - including Holcim's global-leading EcoPact and EcoCycle sustainable concrete products.
* Collaborating with technical, operations, and logistics teams to ensure timely, high-quality service.
* Delivering volume, revenue, and margin targets through proactive engagement and data-driven insights.
* Acting as a trusted partner to clients, helping them meet their own sustainability and project goals.
* Championing Holcim's commitment to sustainability in every customer interaction.
* Building success based on relationships and being a trusted advisor to major clients, offering tailored solutions, not just products.
About You:
We're searching for an individual with grit, vision, and the drive to own their territory. Ideally, you'll bring:
* Sales or account management experience in construction, building materials, or related sectors (strongly preferred).
* A track record of success in major project tendering and managing high-value client portfolios.
* Strong experience in key account management or territory sales roles.
* Confidence working with Tier 1-3 clients and navigating complex commercial landscapes.
* A self-starter mindset, strategic thinking, and strong negotiation skills.
* Tech-savviness with tools like Salesforce, SAP, and Microsoft Office.
* Strong commercial acumen and ability to negotiate at a senior level.
* A curious mindset and a willingness to grow into leadership.
* Passion for creating value, solving problems, and building strong customer partnerships.
* A genuine interest in sustainable building solutions and long-term customer partnerships.
