Job Title: Employment CoachLocation: MorningtonEmployment Type: Part‐time
About the Role
We are looking for Employment Coaches to support young people aged 15‐22 to explore their strengths, build real‐world skills, and gain meaningful work experience. You will provide tailored employment supports empowering young people to achieve their vocational goals and build sustainable career pathways. You'll work alongside our interdisciplinary youth therapy teams to help adolescents and young adults explore work, build new skills, and shape their future with confidence.
Key Responsibilities
* Work in diverse settings including homes, schools, workplaces, vocational and community settings, and Everyday Independence hubs.
* Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of employment coaches, allied health professionals and other youth‐focused practitioners.
* Deliver tailored, hands‐on employment supports to a small group of participants, ensuring a highly consultative and responsive approach to individual needs.
* Facilitate workplace integration by providing on‐site support once employment commences, helping participants adjust and thrive in their roles.
* Collaborate with employers to offer consultation and support, promoting inclusive practices and sustainable employment outcomes.
* Build meaningful relationships with participants and their supports (family, carers, friends).
* Attend weekly team meetings in the hub, sharing stories of impact and fostering a collaborative environment.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Flexibility to travel as required to support service delivery and participant engagement.
* Availability to work Monday to Friday, between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
* Strong communication skills and a team‐player attitude.
* Commitment to personal and professional growth.
* Valid driver's license.
* NDIS Workers Screening Check and Working With Children Check.
* Experience working in NDIS or disability services.
