About the Opportunity
These full-time term contracts (up to 12 months) provide a structured and immersive experience in both strategic planning and development assessment. As a Student Planner you will assist with the various tasks and duties undertaken by the City Planning and Development directorate, gaining practical town planning experience within local government.
Responsibilities
Assist with tasks and duties within the City Planning and Development directorate, contributing to planning functions and supporting both strategic planning and development assessment.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
Currently enrolled, with the intention of completing relevant qualifications in a related field.
Knowledge of applicable legislation and regulations.
Computer literate.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
Experience in planning, policy and strategy.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Current class C driver's licence.
Demonstrated commitment to customer service.
Availability to work flexible working hours.
Remuneration and Benefits
Entry level salary starts at $1,****** per week.
35-hour working week.
