Clough, as part of a joint venture, is delivering the Project Ceres urea plant, a landmark project for Western Australia.
The plant will be the largest in Australia and one of the largest in the world, installing the most sustainable production processes.
The project is expected to generate 2,000 jobs during the construction phase, whilst delivering sustained benefits to the local community through career, training and business opportunities.
About the Role
Read drawings, work orders and production schedules to determine product or job instructions and specifications.
Select, clean and prepare metal stock, fabrication tools and equipment.
Use cutting / welding equipment and boiler making tools to install, fabricate, weld and/or repair structural components, pipe supports, caissons & J-Tube installation.
Fit and assemble metal components by riveting, bolting, welding, brazing or soldering.
Use machines, equipment and tools in a safe and appropriate manner.
Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal using gas shielded metal arc.
What you will bring to the team / Qualifications you will bring
Construction White/Blue Card.
Experience in FCAW and SMAW.
Working at Height, EWP, Confined Space, Gas test Atmospheres.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Previous experience working FIFO/Mining/Construction/Projects would be an advantage.
Current Driver's Licence.
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screen.
Full Working Rights in Australia.
