Join this dynamic organisation as the Manager of Safety, Risk and Security to direct the development, implementation, and monitoring of an effective strategy to mitigate risk, maintain continuity of operations, and provide for the safety and security of all employees
**Key accountabilities**
- Facilitate the management of delivery of a safety assurance process in accordance with regulations and corporate governance
- Conduct safety risk assessments, identify, and triage risks and work with the business toward remediation
- Work with the business to ensure compliance with governmental security and safety regulations or requirements
- Manage Risk Framework and support the Business to proactively identify, register, measure, treat and monitor operational risk across the business
- Provide advice and support to management during crisis events in line with the Business Continuity Policy and Crisis Management Plan
- Own and co-ordinate the operational audit programme in relation to both internal and external operational
- Ensure compliance risk areas, both existing and emerging, are identified and that the business has implemented plans and/or controls to meet compliance obligations
**Skills, experience, and knowledge**
- Demonstrated experience and extensive understanding of work health and safety, emergency management, risk management, incident management governance and compliance, including coordination, investigation and reporting
- Highly articulate and influential verbal and written communication abilities
- Strong Risk Management skills and experience
- Detailed knowledge of WHS legislation and management processes
- Successful track record in implementing practical and effective WHS, Security and Risk management systems
