You have extensive experience in electrical design, inspection, testing, industrial installation, modification, and fault-finding.You work well independently and in teams, with experience leading projects, supervising trade teams, and preparing technical reports, ITPs, specifications, and scopes of work.
You're skilled in reading, creating, and modifying electrical drawings and schematics, and proficient in asset management and work control systems like SAP.With strong communication skills, you effectively manage deliverables, meet deadlines, and ensure projects run smoothly.About the role:As an Electrical Supervisor, you will oversee site-based and office-based activities, ensuring successful refurbishment works aligned with project timelines, safety regulations, and strategic objectives.This role requires frequent travel and onsite attendance as per the outage roster.Responsibilities will include:Providing technical leadership to ensure high-quality electrical task execution.Ensuring compliance with inspection and test plans (ITPs) and inspection record sheets (IRSs).Acting as the Person-in-Charge (PIC) for Hydro Tasmania work parties and supervising contractors.Providing on-the-job training and mentorship for apprentices and graduate engineers.Conducting hazard studies, risk assessments, and toolbox meetings, ensuring safety documentation such as JHAs and Task-Specific Permits (e.g., Hot Work, Confined Space) are completed.This role offers a competitive remuneration package and the opportunity to travel and experience some of the most breathtaking locations in Tasmania.
