We are currently seeking reliable and motivated Laundry Assistants to join our busy production team.
About the Role
This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced commercial laundry environment. You will assist with processing linen from start to finish, helping ensure our facilities receive clean and professionally prepared linen.
Your duties will include:
* Sorting soiled linen in accordance with infection control procedures
* Operating industrial washers, dryers and ironer/folder equipment
* Inspecting linen for cleanliness and quality
* Folding, packing and preparing linen orders for dispatch
* Picking and packing linen based on order lists
* Maintaining safe work practices and hygiene standards
* Working collaboratively to meet daily production targets
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will have:
* Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
* Good attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
* Physical capability for manual handling tasks and working on your feet
* Strong teamwork and communication skills
* A positive, reliable and \"can-do\" attitude
* Previous experience in commercial or healthcare laundry
