We are currently working with a company that focuses on the global development of PV plants and battery storage projects with a project pipeline of more than 60GW globally.As the Development Manager, you will develop solar projects from concept to Ready-To-Build. You will collaborate with stakeholders to secure the agreements and approvals required for a successful project outcome. The Development Manager will join existing project teams and support on the origination of new sites, with a focus on grid issues.ResponsibilitiesConduct desktop assessments of new greenfield solar opportunities, including land access, planning, and grid connection feasibilitySupport the development of existing projects across New South Wales and VictoriaCoordinate internal and external stakeholders to secure bankable grid connection agreementsProvide strategic advice to the Development team on grid connection pathways and associated project feasibility risksOversee planning and engineering resources to prepare and obtain development approvals, progressing projects from concept to Ready-To-BuildEngage with landowners to secure new project sites and manage associated contracts and agreementsQualificationsProven experience in renewable energy project development in Australia, with a strong focus on grid connectionSolid understanding of electrical engineering principles, including grid studies and power system modellingStrong skills in negotiation and contract managementExcellent interpersonal and communication abilitiesDemonstrated capability in prioritising deliverables and advancing multiple projects through development milestonesLocated in Sydney or MelbourneKey ContactQuestions about this role?
