Are you an experienced Accounts Officer with exceptional attention to detail and a passion for accuracy? We're looking for a proactive and dedicated professional to support our finance operations.
Perth Plate and Reo is a rapidly growing concrete reinforcing business in Landsdale and we are looking for a bookkeeper/Accounts officer to join our team. This varied role would suit a candidate who has an extensive background and experience in all accounts and payroll related duties.
Key Responsibilities:
* Full end to end accounts duties including account payable and receivable
* End‑to‑end processing of supplier invoices and credit notes, including coding, obtaining approvals, and accurate data entry.
* Debtor management
* Weekly payroll preparation using Bundy plus
* Managing correspondence to ensure appropriate time frames are being met
* Daily sales invoicing
* Bank, credit card, Supplier and Customer reconciliations
* Full end of month checks and reporting
* Liaising closely with the Sales Team
* Microsoft Excel spreadsheet management
* Some Data entry
* Assisting with general administrative tasks to cover leave periods.
* Advanced Workshop software management (training provided)
The successful candidate will require the following:
* Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping or Accounting degree ideal but not essential
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar finance or accounts role.
* Exceptional attention to detail and strong work ethic.
* High energy and a strong task‑oriented approach.
* Excellent organisational and strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Reinforcing background advantageous
* The ability to work in a fast paced environment.
* Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) experience essential
* A friendly positive attitude
* Able to work as part of a team
* Own transport
