The Opportunity

Bentleys SA is a leading full-service advisory firm dedicated to helping clients achieve their goals.

We're seeking a passionate IT Support Officer to join our Corporate Services team and play a key role in supporting the information technology systems of Bentleys SA.

As the first point of contact for staff seeking assistance, you'll provide timely and professional support to resolve IT system, hardware, and software issues. This role is integral to maintaining a high-quality IT service and ensuring smooth business operations.

You'll deliver technical support and troubleshooting while building strong relationships across the firm, helping shape the way technology supports our people and clients.

Key Responsibilities

* Deliver technical support and maintain devices to ensure an exceptional user experience
* Build strong relationships with teams and act as a conduit between IT and the wider Bentleys network
* Capture records in our ITSM system, determine severity and priority, and escalate when necessary
* Develop documentation, training materials, and guides to support end users
* Anticipate potential issues, make proactive suggestions, and share innovative ideas

About You

You'll bring a positive 'can-do' attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and a desire to learn and grow within a contemporary firm that values collaboration and innovation.

Essential to your success:

* 2-4 years' experience in an IT support or similar role
* Skilled in providing effective support both in-person and remotely
* Hands-on experience supporting company endpoints (laptops, TVs, mobile devices)
* Proficient with Microsoft Active Directory and/or Microsoft Entra
* Strong knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft Office suite
* Ability to troubleshoot complex software and technology issues
* Experience engaging third-party vendors and managing escalations
* Excellent documentation skills for both technical and end-user content
* Demonstrated enthusiasm and passion for IT and customer service
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Relevant tertiary qualification, or certification in leading IT frameworks or industry standards (e.g., ITIL, CompTIA+)

Highly Regarded:

* Familiarity with accounting software (APS, FYI, Xero, MYOB)
* Knowledge of AI technologies (Grok, ChatGPT, Copilot)
* Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (ISO:27001, ACSC Essential Eight)
